“Sing to the LORD a new song.”
Guided by Psalm 96’s call to sing praises to the LORD, the mission of Bethany Lutheran School’s Trinity and Troubadour Choirs is to joyfully cultivate musical talent, foster a love for worship, and inspire spiritual growth among our young voices…creating harmonies and lyrical melodies that proclaim the truth of God’s great love, mercy, and grace.
Meaningful experiences with a meaningful message.
The school choirs of Bethany Lutheran reach beyond the corner of Clark and Arbor in Long Beach, CA. They’re sharing the Gospel, proclaiming His love, and singing to the Lord with joyful hearts and an exuberant sound. We do all this while having fun, too!

Bethany Lutheran Choirs Perform at Knott’s Berry Farm
The school choirs at Bethany Lutheran School in Long Beach, CA took the Wagon Camp stage at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA in early June. Trinity Choir, Troubadour Choir, and both General Bells and Advanced Bells were accepted by an audition process to perform at Knott’s. Director of School Choirs, Noah Freeman, Accompanist, Kevin Bowers, Principal and Director of Advanced Bells, Dr. Mary Fink, and Director of General Bells, Sara Cerulle guided the choirs’ experience. “It’s a unique, fun, and meaningful experience for the children’s music groups to go beyond the church sanctuary and the choir room to share the Gospel,” said Noah Freeman. “There’s certainly a lot of planning and coordinating that goes into something like this, but when you think about the experience that the kids receive by sharing music with an audience that they perhaps haven’t created music for before in a new space while sharing the message of Christ, that easily makes it worth it.”
Congratulations to the school choirs of Bethany Lutheran School for a wonderful performance!
